My Story

In 2020, I decided to grow a garden.  I had very little experience on growing plants let alone food.  Nevertheless, I wanted to grow for self sustainability, healthy food options, self-care, and therapeutic recreation. With a few failed attempts, I did what anyone else would do, I consulted Professor Google and attended YouTube University. This of course led me into a world full of gardening information.   In this time of discovery, I learned an incredible biblical truth. This truth flows from Genesis 1:29, which says, “God has given each of us every seed bearing fruit as food.” This was mind blowing! I had no clue that what was often right in front of me, were seeds with the potential for growth.  This God given gift wasn’t simply for the ancient world, but what God has supplied has permeated our reality since the beginning.

What in essence was truly commonsense gardening wasn’t so common for me and many others prior to 2020.  I have truly come to understand that the food in our homes has the ability to grow and be regrown. From lemons to lettuce, from apples to bell peppers, I have learned that our produce does something so fascinating! They RE-PRO-DUCE. God made it that way. The more knowledge I gained, the more it dawned on me that no one with access to seed bearing food, light  and water ever has to go hungry. God has really provided for us and has given us everything we need. Every time we have held a fruit in our hand or a vegetable in our house, there was opportunity to be fruitful and multiply. This pattern and cycle was set by God.

As I came to understand more about this biblical provision, the idea to help others cultivate their very own Edens came to life. This epiphany became the catalyst to a spiritual and natural journey with God in the garden that I want others to experience.

Here and now, I want you to know that you too can have your own Garden of Eden right at your home. Whether you have a backyard with lush landscape or you're in quaint living quarters with limited growing space, a personal Eden is waiting just for you.
